The shrines have been elegantly carved out with precious jewellery adoring the statues. Intricate work has been done on inner walls of the temple with precious stones adoring some of the inscriptions in the inner sanctum of the temple.

Interestingly, the drawings done on the inner walls of the temple showcase historical stories which have religious significance and speak much about the rich past of Indian mythology.

JK Temple is centrally located in Kamla Nagar locality of Kanpur city. Owing to its unique architecture, the temple attracts large number of tourists from all over the country who come over to Kanpur as part of a religious sojourn which also includes a trip to other cities of the state having religious significance.

Kanpur airport is located at a distance of 15 km from the temple complex and taxis can be hired from the airport itself for paying obedience at the JK temple. If travelling by rail, the Kanpur Anwarganj railway station is located at a distance of 5 km. Auto rickshaw and taxis can be hired from the railway station for a trip to the temple complex.
