Allen Forest Zoo is located in Azad Nagar, Nawabganj, Kanpur and can ideally be visited in a taxi or any personal vehicle. Given the size of the zoo, private vehicles are allowed within the zoo and the same can be taken inside after paying vehicle charges.

The zoo is open throughout the year and can be visited from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on all days of the week except Monday.
